Deleting a test in Watchtower doesn’t remove it right away; it moves to Trash, where it stays recoverable for 30 days.
Deleting a test only removes it from Watchtower’s dashboard. It never touches the actual spec file or code in your repository.

Restoring a test

Open Trash from the sidebar. Every deleted test is listed with its folder, last known status, how long ago it was deleted, and how many days remain before it’s purged. Click Restore on any row to bring it back into Test Center, or select several with the checkboxes and use Restore N to bring back multiple at once.

Permanently deleting old tests

Tests left in Trash are automatically purged after 30 days. To clear everything eligible right now, click Purge expired and confirm. This permanently deletes every test that’s been in Trash longer than 30 days and can’t be undone.

Deleting a test

You can send a test to Trash from a few places:
  • In Test Center, select one or more tests in bulk mode and choose Delete Selected.
  • From a test’s row menu, choose Delete.
  • From a test’s detail view, use the Delete button.
Each of these asks for confirmation before moving the test to Trash.
